Typical military, non-traditional or transfer admission
For non-traditional students
A non-traditional student has not attended high school or college in the past five years and, if transferring previous college credit, has fewer than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours).
Requirements:
- A high school diploma from an accredited high school or a GED
- COMPASS test scores in areas required by Admissions Office
- Application plus $25 non-refundable application fee (waived for active duty military if applying with paper application and a copy of military ID is attached)
- Certificate of immunization
- Official high school transcripts
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended
- Official GED transcripts with test scores (if applicable)
For transfer students
A transfer student is someone who has earned 30 or more semester hours of transferable credit (45 quarter hours) from previously attended colleges or universities. As a transfer student, you must be eligible to return to the institution you last attended.
Requirements:
- Minimum transfer GPA of 2.0
- Application plus $25 non-refundable application fee (waived for active duty military if applying with paper application and a copy of military ID is attached)
- Certificate of immunization
- Official transcripts from all institutions previously attended
As active duty military or dependent, you will be eligible to receive a Military Fee Waiver. The Military Fee Waiver waives the out-of-state portion of tuition for active duty military personnel station in Georgia and their dependents (form/copy of military I.D.).
